About the School

Whether you are a contemporary artist, a street or nature photographer, a beginner, or a weathered professional—I will help you get in touch with your inner vision.

Expect classes to be a rich blend of art theory, storytelling, philosophy, and creative psychology. I believe general art knowledge should be interlaced with photography studies; being here will refresh your outlook on life.

What will you gain?

Creative identity, creative authority, and an inspiring vision.

Who is this for?

Those who want to learn photography and contemporary art from the convenience of home, while engaging in a community to receive feedback from fellow artists.

What if I am a total beginner?

Believe it or not, amateurs are often more in touch with their vision than professionals who shoot primarily for clients. To both groups: worry not. The assignments are flexible, allowing everyone to thrive at their own level of expertise.

Am I too old to learn?

Think of age as an advantage. You need a life lived to have a story to tell.

Get to know your inner world, mix life experiences with your art, and share your journey in group presentations.

Our Process

I teach photography differently. Classes operate in club-like atmosphere. Many students enjoy repeating classes because the content evolves and the dynamic energy of each group ensures a fresh experience every time.

Our process is experimental; I learn from you as much as you learn from me. The assignments are both creative and thought-provoking. This is not a "get results quick" type of school, but a journey that relies on both group synergy and your individual contribution. We work with the flow—no two classes are the same.

While this is not a technical school (as many such resources exist online), my purpose is to act as your mirror, helping you see your artistic style more clearly. That said, I am a classically trained photographer and professional editor with 25 years of experience. I am always available to provide technical direction or address obstacles that prevent you from achieving the output you desire.

I find photography to be the most direct route to experimenting with composition, light, color, and overall visual intelligence. Photography is immediate; it serves as the simplest method for illustrating complex art principles. We "beta-test" ideas within the group to learn how they resonate with an audience; photography plays an integral role in contemporary art, serving as a primary medium for exploring and presenting ideas.

Our Programs

Composition Track:

I teach mindful composition. This isn’t about rules. It’s about structure—the kind you feel before you can explain it. Composition isn’t decoration. It’s the underlying logic of why an image holds, or collapses. The curriculum moves from object → space → narrative. Don't be surprised to hear about Leonardo da Vinci, sacred geometry and other disciplines. I use examples from sculpture, architecture, graphic novels and film. Registered composition students are welcome to attend theory class free of charge.

Step 1: Objects & Subjects: Photography as Sculpture

Step 2: Places & Spaces: Photography as Sacred Geometry

Step 3: Objects in Places: Photography as Theatre

Light, Camera Mood Track

This is not a technical class disguised as art. It’s a way of seeing, then shaping what you see into something that feels intentional. The curriculum unfolds in three 12-week modules, each one building on the last—moving from observation to control to narrative.

Step 1: Daylight Photography: History of Photography

Step 2: Flash Photography: Beauty in Photography

Step 3: Cinematic View:  Storytelling in Photography

Contemporary Photography: Project Work

You can take these classes in any order. This is not a curriculum, but project-by-project group. You will explore modern storytelling techniques and experimental art projects based on photography yet extended to other mediums. Our contemporary circle goes beyond the still image to experiment with text, video, sound, and AI. Contemporary art is a powerful tool to combat feelings of disconnect, shyness, and imposter syndrome. It encourages you to be brave and rebellious.

  • Track 1: Bi-weekly short-form projects.

  • Track 2: Long-form themed work.

  • In the timeslot between these groups, we discuss the contemporary art world: emerging artists, exhibitions, and curatorial practices, with special attention given to artist statements, biographies, and project documentation.

Photography + Humanity

This is a short curriculum following history of psychology applied to the greatest photographic projects.  I hope this will help you position your practice within meaningful, well-thought concepts.

Creative Identity Studies

These bootcamps offer a deep dive designed for motivated creators ready for transformation. You will participate in identity-level formation work: aligning creative vision and personal authority through structured exercises based on ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Coaching), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and Jungian reflection.

I approach art through a psychology and Jungian psychoanalytical lens. Carl Jung was a pioneer in discovering the role of collective and personal symbolism in everyday life. As photographers, we speak in metaphors; psychoanalytical theory remains a dominant principle in contemporary critical thought. The classes are based on creativity studies pioneers Rudolf Steiner, Alan Watts, George Gurdjieff and the greatest architect of meaning of all times, Victor Frankl. Please note, there is no therapeutic or mystical element in these classes. We speak about developing creative sensitivity for artistic purposes only, not about transforming your life altogether.
